About Us

Founded in 1976, ICCD promotes personal connections throughout the Delaware Valley by hosting cultural events such as the Wilmington St. Patrick's Day Parade and the Irish Culture Club of Delaware's Festival & and Feisanna. Our mission is to preserve and share Irish history, culture, and traditions in our community. The ICCD promotes lifelong learning, advances knowledge of Irish culture, and strengthens our community through outreach and events.

  1. We commit ourselves to promoting the Irish culture to benefit Irish Americans and all others – be they native Americans or of immigrant cultures.

  2. We will take the necessary risks to host events that connect with others and share our positive experiences.

  3. We participate in community development through events, fundraising, and providing scholarships.

  4. We will reflect this commitment in our governing structures, our dialogue with the entire community, and our relationship with all peoples.
