About the event

The painting of the green line down King Street in front of Rodney Square marks the start of the Irish Culture Club of Delaware’s St. Patrick’s Day Parade celebration—a tradition of unity and camaraderie that brings Irish heritage to the heart of Wilmington.

This year, we are proud to honor the legacy of lifelong member Mr. Paul Mahoney Sr. by naming this cherished event in his memory. This will enable us to remember him for as long as we come together to paint the green line.

Join us on Friday, March 7th, 2025, 10:00am-11:30am, in front of Rodney Square on King Street. Together with dignitaries, club members, and friends, we’ll kick off a week-long celebration of our Patron Saint Patrick in true Irish style!
